THE 31ST ANNUAL GOVERNOR'S ARTS AWARDS

Nearly 400 individuals celebrated Nevada's arts and cultural industry at the 31st Annual Governor's Arts Awards (GAA) at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City on March 2, 2011. GAA guests were welcomed by Carson City Mayor Robert Crowell, NAC Chair Tim Jones, and Governor Brian Sandoval.

The evening was filled with performances, the award ceremony and a special presentation of the Nevada Arts & Humanities Award for Public Service to former Senator Bill Raggio and Speaker of the Assembly Joe Dini, Jr., sponsored jointly by the Nevada Arts Council and Nevada Humanities.
